Job Description
Global Power Technologies Group is looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer. The primary responsibility of the Electrical Engineer for Global Power Technologies Group is the design, evaluation, verification, validation and testing of power electronics products. The successful candidate will also be involved in day-to-day support of existing product. The Electrical Engineer will have responsibility for hardware development, test and trouble shooting. Design related experience may be needed in order to perform these responsibilities. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with the Technical Manager to identify and solve design issues.

Power converter/inverter circuit topology selection and control software design

Power loss calculation of major components

Analog/Digital circuit schematic and PCB design

Magnetic component design
-
Hardware test and trouble shooting
Requirements
-
Ph.D in Power Electronics (Preferred) or MS Degree in Electronics

Two (2) years’ experience for M.S.E.E with power electronics, analog circuits, and/or magnetic components required

Must be good at mathematical skills and logical reasoning

Must be familiar with computer programming languages, C/C++ preferred

Must be able to work as a key member of the design team

Circuit analysis experience, PSPICE or MATLAB preferred

Experience with the electromagnetic field analysis tool, a plus

Knowledge in Digital, and Microcomputer circuits, a plus
